Why does AppFolio have a 50-unit minimum?

AppFolio's per-unit pricing model requires a minimum spend to make the unit economics work — they need a baseline account size before per-unit fees scale up. Rentbase has no unit minimum. Pricing is flat per firm based on the tier you choose, not the units you manage.
